EDINBURG, Texas — A Texas highschool soccer participant charged onto the sphere and shocked a referee Thursday evening, angered after being ejected from the sport.
Senior defensive lineman Emmanuel Duron of Edinburg Excessive Faculty got here working from the sideline space after the referee introduced the ejection, slamming into the official throughout the first half of the zone play-in sport in opposition to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo.
Duron was escorted from the stadium by law enforcement officials.
The Monitor of McAllen reported the referee was evaluated for a concussion by medical personnel on the stadium.
