Disney has confirmed Indiana Jones 5 is on monitor for a July 2022 launch, with pre-production at present underway. The information was reiterated by Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy throughout Disney’s annual investor day presentation on December 10.
Ford v Ferrari and Logan director James Mangold stays on board to helm the movie, and Harrison Ford is of course returning as Indy himself “to conclude this iconic character’s journey,” defined Kennedy.
Indiana Jones 5 will start taking pictures in late spring of 2021.

Nearly nothing is thought in regards to the potential plot of Inidana Jones 5 at this stage, although we do know {that a} earlier model of the movie fell apart after no-one could agree on the story. When IGN asked Ford himself about the story, his response was predictably cryptic. “We’ll see new developments in his life, his relationship,” Ford stated. “We’ll see a part of his historical past resolved.”
