Gonzaga and Baylor stay the highest two groups within the first Related Press males’s college basketball poll of the common season.
The Zags obtained 57 first-place votes from a 63-person media panel within the ballot launched Monday.
The Bears obtained six first-place votes, with Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois rounding out the highest 5.
Gonzaga (2-0) was the preseason No. 1 and lived as much as the billing by rolling over Kansas and Auburn in Fort Meyers, Florida.

Villanova dropped 9 spots to No. 12 after shedding to Virginia Tech in Uncasville, Connecticut. The Hokies moved into the ballot at No. 16.
No. 15 Virginia fell 11 spots this week after shedding to San Francisco.
Richmond entered the rankings at No. 19.
